Medical Advisor

Dr. Mark Hyman

Dr. Mark Hyman is a practicing family physician and an internationally recognized leader, speaker, educator, and advocate in the field of Functional Medicine.

He is the founder and director of The UltraWellness Center, Senior Advisor for the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine, a fourteen- time New York Times best-selling author, and Board President for Clinical Affairs for The Institute for Functional Medicine.

He is the host of one of the leading health podcasts, The Doctor’s Farmacy. Dr. Hyman is a regular medical contributor several television shows and networks, including CBS This Morning, Today, Good Morning America, The View, and CNN. He is also an advisor and guest co-host on The Dr. Oz Show.

Chief Ayurvedic Advisor

Dr. Shailendra Chaubey

Dr. Shailendra is a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner and a dedicated spiritual healer. Based out of Mumbai, with over 16 years experience practicing and researching Ayurvedic principles.

He was The Medical Director at Vedary, championing holistic healing in a big way in India.

He has been instrumental in bringing together a panel of highly trained doctors and therapists who offer ancient, time proven and alternate healing methods backed with modern understanding of medicine and science.

He is also Chief Ayurvedic Consultant at Traya, the online hair solution portal and Co-Curator of Herbal teas for Sahasrara.


Ann Veneman

Ann M. Veneman has a distinguished career in public service, serving as the Executive Director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) from 2005 to 2010 and as the United States Secretary of Agriculture from 2001 to 2005.

She is the only woman to ever serve as Secretary of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Veneman directed one of most diverse federal agencies with a budget of $113 billion and 110,000 employees.

She also served as Secretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture from 1995 to 1999, overseeing the state agency responsible for nation’s largest agricultural producing region.

Veneman currently serves on the boards of directors for Nestlé S.A., Full Harvest, Sun World, Icosavax, the Global Health Innovative Technology Fund, the Clinton Health Access Initiative. She is a frequent speaker on a range of topics including poverty alleviation, empowering women and girls, food security and nutrition, and global health. In 2009 she was named to the Forbes World’s 100 Most Powerful Women list.


Poorna Jagannathan

Poorna Jagannathan is an actress, producer and activist. She is best known for her portrayal of Safar Khan in the HBO miniseries 'The Night Of' as well for her role as Nalini Vishwakumar in the Netflix teen comedy series 'Never Have I Ever' by Mindy Kaling.

Jagannathan was named among the top 100 Most Impactful Asians by Gold House for 2021 and 2022, as well as being named among the top 50 most powerful women in India in 2014. Her play 'Nirbhaya' won the prestigious 2013 Amnesty International Award.

Medical Advisor

Dr. Jennifer Lang

Dr Lang is a physician, author and educator. She practiced as a board-certified ob-gyn and gynecologic oncologist, specializing in integrative and preventative medicine, minimally invasive and robotic surgery.

In 2013, she cofounded an international medical nonprofit that delivers cervical cancer prevention services to women in resource-poor countries.

She is a certified Food As Medicine practitioner and certified in Plant-Based Nutrition.

She is the author of The Whole 9 Months: A Week-By-Week Pregnancy Nutrition Guide with Recipes for a Healthy Start, and Consent: Every Teen’s Guide to Healthy Sexual Relationships.

Medical Advisor

Dr. Anthony Padula

Anthony S. Padula, M.D., is a triple-board-certified physician in adult medicine, pediatrics and rheumatology. Dr. Padula is an industry recognized leader, speaker, educator and advocate in his field.

Dr. Padula combines his passions to tackle health challenges that confront both the individual and the system.

He believes disease not only attacks our body, but also warps our ‘health identity,’ and that only by caring for the whole person can we truly restore wellness.

Dr. Padula practices as a Rheumatologist at the Northern California Arthritis Center in Walnut Creek, CA.


Jing Gao

Jing Gao, the founder and CEO of Fly By Jing is a chef, entrepreneur and a renowned expert on Chinese cuisine on a mission to bring uncensored Chinese flavors to the table.

She was born in Chengdu, but grew up everywhere, and uses her experience as a chef to share meaningful flavors that open people up to new ideas and conversations.

She was the founder of an award-winning modern-Chinese fast casual restaurant in Shanghai and her work has been featured in The New York Times, BBC, CNN, Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Fortune, and more.


Radhika Tandon

Radhika Tandon is a strategic marketing advisor and investor who helps create and grow brands.

Her love for this role came from years of experience stemming from working at top Silicon Valley law firms, her family’s group of companies and companies she founded.

As a former patent and intellectual property lawyer, Radhika honed in on the skill she picked up as a litigator to continuously educate target audiences in clear and persuasive way with what they need to understand the product’s value proposition.

Managing branding and marketing for Isharya, a Indian fashion jewelry brand Radhika co-founded, taught her all about building brands, companies and outreach campaigns from scratch. Serving as a senior marketing advisor for Tandon Group companies, like Infinx Healthcare and Syrma Technology, she was able to use her expertise to ensure marketing activities are tied to revenue growth.

Through her marketing agency, Workdom, and startup advisory roles, she brings this unique experience to new founders to help them build and execute revenue marketing/sales enablement programs that scale for their organization.


Anjani Bhargava

Anjani works in partnership with CEOs and leadership teams at critical junctions helping enable the next chapter of growth, transformation, or turnaround through culture and leadership

She created DLB Growth in 2012 to work in partnership with organizations who believe culture should be one of their greatest unfair customer advantages.

Her clients include large organizations such as IBM, Xerox, Biogen, AMD, and Cedars-Sinai, High-Growth companies such as Slack, Radiology Partners, IRI, Capsilon, and AVIA, and a multitude of VC and PE-backed startups.

She has operated in key leadership roles for Motorola, Pepsi, and Lenovo; most recently she served as the Chief HR Officer for Topco, and the Chief Talent Officer for Abundant Venture Partners.


Megha Desai

Megha Desai is the President of the Desai Foundation, an organization that empowers women and children through community programming to elevate health and livelihood both in the US and in India.

She is also the Founder of MSD (Marketing. Strategy. Dharma.), a branding and strategic partnership advisory serving social good brands.

Megha sits on the advisory board of several start-ups and non-profits, including NPR’s Generation Listen, TakeTwo Film Academy, and TYE Boston – TiE Young Entrepreneurs, and is a contributor to publications like Boston Globe, Fast Company, Huffington Post, Thrive Global, and Entrepreneur Magazine.

She is an avid singer and performs with the Resistance Revival Chorus at venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Summer Stage, and more.


Anjali Kumar

Anjali Kumar works with entrepreneurs and C-level executives in all stages of business, focusing on early-stage tech, consumer products, and luxury fashion companies with a social conscience. She recently founded Slightly Reserved, an advisory firm focusing on legal counsel and business strategy for entrepreneurs, executives, talent, and brands. She is also a co-founder of COVID Tech Connect which sent nearly 20,000 smart devices to hospitals and senior care facilities across the US that allow critically ill patients to connect with their loved ones.

Prior to Slightly Reserved, Anjali was the Founding Chief People Officer and General Counsel at Cheddar, the Founding Head of Social Innovation and Founding General Counsel at Warby Parker, Founding General Counsel at Acumen, and Senior Counsel at Google

While at Google, Anjali curated and hosted the @Google Speaker Series on the NYC campus, bringing Googlers from around the globe face-to-face with today’s most prominent and innovative thought leaders including Anthony Bourdain, Questlove, and Jacques Pépin and hosted a YouTube interview series 'Lunchtime at Google.'

Anjali’s 2017 TED Talk based on her book Stalking God: My Unorthodox Search For Something To Believe In (Hachette 2018), has been watched by 5 million people worldwide and translated into over twenty languages. A television show based on her book is in development.

Most recently, in 2022, Anjali co-hosted interview podcast show, 'The Important Things' with beauty legend Bobbi Brown for iHeart Media.

Anjali earned her BA in Biomedical Ethics from Brown University and a JD from Boston University School of Law. She is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School and Fordham University and continues to advise non-profit organizations including Malala Fund and

In 2016, she was appointed by Mayor Bill de Blasio to join the NYC Children’s Cabinet Advisory Board and the board of directors of GrowNYC. Anjali currently serves on the board of directors of Happy Money, IFundWomen, Women's World Banking, Amplifier, POV, and GloScience Professional.

Anjali lives in New York City and upstate New York with her husband and daughter.
