I actually purchased this for every time someone comes over, praises my cooking and I rave about New Salt. Now I just send friends home with their own packet to try, I'm that much of a fan!

I tried this directly out of the packet and it tasted like table salt for the most part. It did have a very slight essence of a green vegetable flavor. I used this to season some stir-fried vegetables (mushrooms, broccoli, green beans, baby corn) and it turned out well. New salt is not 100% salt. It’s blended with ashwagandha and other vitamins, so more was needed to get the same flavor result as normal salt. I don’t really experience any discomfort or health issues from normal salt, so didn’t really notice any difference when using new salt except for the satisfaction that I got some more vitamins into my diet for the day. On a separate occasion I tried using this in a blueberry Paloma cocktail that required a pinch of salt to break the bitterness of the grapefruit. The pinch of new salt did that successfully. The little packets are convenient on the go and there’s actually a good amount in it them. I didn’t use the entire pack when seasoning my stir fry.
